Pro does not replace ECHO's core local-player promise. It helps cover development, server, mobile, PCM / SDM, official plugin, and technical support maintenance costs while keeping the core app moving forward.

• ≈ SDM ECHO SDM / PCM-to-DSD

  Convert PCM into DSD / SDM through oversampling, FIR filtering, sigma-delta modulation, and noise shaping. This is not native DSD passthrough or ordinary PCM upsampling; it requires a compatible DAC, driver, and sufficient compute.

PCM / SDM

Two advanced audio paths with different purposes

PCM High-quality upsampling that remains PCM

ECHO PCM / SRC recalculates samples after decoding and raises the 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz family to a DAC-supported target rate. Pro exposes rate, filter, quality, and compute choices. A higher multiplier is not automatically better; DAC support and stable playback come first.

SDM Modulate PCM into DSD / SDM output

ECHO SDM oversamples and filters PCM, then generates 1-bit SDM through sigma-delta modulation and noise shaping. It is different from native DSD passthrough, uses more compute than PCM upsampling, and depends more heavily on the DAC and driver. Start at a lower DSD rate and return to PCM if playback is unstable.

Activation

Pro Activation Tutorial

If you have already purchased Pro, follow this flow. The important parts are copying the complete order number and the correct machine code. Keep your order number private.

1. Prepare your purchase information

   Complete the ECHO Pro purchase on Afdian, then copy the complete order number from the order detail page. It is not your QQ number or a payment screenshot ID.

2. Copy this device machine code

   Open ECHO Next, go to the Pro Activation entry in settings, and copy the machine code shown for the current device.

3. Fill in the activation page

   Open the ECHO Pro activation page, choose the Afdian order mode, and enter QQ, the complete order number, and the machine code.

4. Generate and import the plugin

   After validation succeeds, download the generated plugin package and import it into ECHO. Restart ECHO once if the app asks you to.

5. Unbind before moving devices

   ECHO Pro is bound to a device. Before changing computers or making major hardware or system changes, release the old device slot first.
