Playlist Import Guide

ECHO has two playlist-import paths. Normal streaming playlists are imported into Playlists. Bilibili, YouTube, and SoundCloud sources are imported as streaming favorite collections. Both paths only read links and account-accessible items you provide. ECHO does not provide download services, bypass platform permissions, bypass paid access, or bypass copyright protection.

Choose The Right Import Box

Open Playlists in ECHO:

1. For NetEase Cloud Music, QQ Music, KuGou, or Spotify playlists, use Add streaming playlist.
2. For Bilibili favorites, YouTube playlists, or SoundCloud sets, use Import favorites in the streaming favorites area.
3. Paste the full link and click add or import.
4. After import, select the new item in the playlist list or streaming favorites list.
5. Large playlists may take longer because ECHO reads them page by page.

Do not mix the two import paths. YouTube playlists, Bilibili favorites, and SoundCloud sets do not use the normal streaming playlist box. NetEase, QQ Music, and Spotify playlists do not use the favorites import box.

Normal Playlists: NetEase, QQ, Spotify

NetEase Cloud Music

Common supported formats:

• https://music.163.com/#/playlist?id=123456789
• https://music.163.com/playlist?id=123456789
• Share text that contains a full music.163.com playlist link
• DJ radio / podcast links, such as https://music.163.com/djradio?id=990232286

Notes:

• The link needs an id= value, or a path from which ECHO can read the playlist ID.
• If the link comes from the mobile app, copy the share link instead of only copying the playlist name.
• Private playlists, region-limited items, or account-restricted items may fail or import only partly.
• Playback still depends on source availability, copyright state, account state, and network access.

QQ Music

QQ Music has many link variants. ECHO tries to handle mobile, desktop, legacy web, hash parameters, copied share text, short share redirects, and nested redirect links, but the link must still contain or resolve to a numeric playlist ID.

Common QQ mistakes:

• Do not paste only the playlist title, creator name, or a screenshot. Paste the full link.
• Do not manually remove parameters such as id, disstid, dissid, dirid, tid, or playlistId.
• QQ short links may need redirect resolution. If network or proxy handling breaks that redirect, copy the full share link again from QQ Music.
• A track, album, MV, search page, or profile page is not a playlist page and will not import as a playlist.
• The playlist ID is usually numeric. If the link has no numeric playlist ID at all, it is unlikely to import.
• QQ playlist-detail APIs may sometimes return an empty list or reject a request. Confirm the playlist opens publicly in a browser, switch network if needed, and retry later.

Recommended copy workflow:

1. Open the target playlist detail page in QQ Music.
2. Use the share button to copy the link instead of trimming the address manually.
3. If you get a c6.y.qq.com short link, you can paste it directly. If it fails, open the short link and copy the final landing page URL.
4. Paste it into ECHO’s Add streaming playlist box.
5. After import, check the playlist count and artwork in ECHO.

Spotify

Supported Spotify playlist formats:

Spotify-specific notes:

• Finish Spotify OAuth Setup first and log in with your own Spotify Client ID.
• Spotify playback uses the official player / Connect path and usually requires Premium. ECHO does not expose downloadable Spotify audio URLs.
• Spotify Web API can restrict playlist track-list access. Some playlists can only be read by the owner or collaborators.
• If ECHO reports an owner or collaborator restriction, open the playlist in your system browser, copy it into your own Spotify account, then import the new playlist link.
• In Development Mode, a Spotify app may only allow listed users. Public usage requires quota and user-access handling in Spotify Dashboard.

Special Collections: Bilibili, YouTube, SoundCloud

These sources behave like streaming favorite collections in ECHO rather than normal long-term playlists. ECHO stores the source, collection name, and readable items so you can browse them later.

Bilibili Favorites

ECHO supports Bilibili favorite folders, not normal collections, channel pages, or single video pages. The link needs a favorite-folder ID, for example:

Notes:

• Private favorites, inaccessible favorites, or login-required items need a valid Bilibili account state in ECHO settings.
• ECHO reads one favorite folder, not all favorites owned by the Bilibili user.
• If the link opens a single video, dynamic post, or profile page instead of a favorite folder, import will fail.

YouTube Playlists

Supported YouTube playlist formats:

• https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxxxxxxxx
• https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEO_ID&list=PLxxxxxxxx

Notes:

• The link must contain a list= playlist ID.
• A single video URL without list= cannot be imported as a playlist.
• Private, members-only, region-limited, age-limited, or login-required playlists depend on the YouTube browser / cookie state configured in settings.
• YouTube list reading depends on network access and the upstream page structure. If import fails, first confirm the same list opens in your browser.

SoundCloud Sets

ECHO supports SoundCloud sets / playlist pages, for example:

Notes:

• A normal SoundCloud track page is not a set and will not import as a favorite collection.
• Private, region-limited, or login-required content may require browser cookies or a logged-in SoundCloud session.
• SoundCloud does not require Artist Pro or a developer API for this path. ECHO uses the saved login state and accessible pages.

After Import

Normal streaming playlists appear in the Playlists list. You can:

• Open, play, and search the imported items like other playlists.
• Refresh an imported remote playlist so ECHO reads the source again.
• Use the external link button to open the original platform page.
• If a track cannot play, check source rights, account state, network access, and provider availability.

Streaming favorite imports appear in the favorites list. You can:

• Switch between Bilibili, YouTube, and SoundCloud collections.
• Sync a saved favorite source again.
• Delete an imported collection from ECHO; this does not delete anything on the original platform.

Troubleshooting

Check in this order:

1. Make sure you pasted a full URL, not a playlist name, screenshot, short text, or single-track link.
2. Confirm the import path: NetEase / QQ / Spotify use Add streaming playlist; Bilibili / YouTube / SoundCloud use Import favorites.
3. Open the same link in a browser and confirm the current account and network can access it.
4. For QQ Music, check for a numeric playlist ID or one of id, disstid, dissid, dirid, tid, or playlistId.
5. For Spotify, check OAuth, Premium, allowlist, and owner / collaborator permissions.
6. For Bilibili, YouTube, and SoundCloud, configure account login or browser cookies when the source requires login.
7. If the playlist is large, wait for the first import to finish. Avoid repeatedly clicking import.
8. If it still fails, report the provider, link format screenshot, error text, proxy state, login state, and whether the link opens in your browser.

Compliance Boundary

Playlist import only syncs list information that you are allowed to access. ECHO does not provide cracking, downloading, membership bypass, region bypass, private-content scraping, or platform-rule bypass. Third-party scripts, gray-market sources, resource-index links, and infringing content are outside official ECHO support.
